David Franz Winery is a stunning destination for relaxation located in the beautiful Barossa Valley. With only a cosy and small indoor cellar door area, the winery is reliant on using its large outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy a variety of food and exceptional wines while experiencing fabulous Barossa vineyard views. The downside of this amazing terrace is that it is exposed to the elements, which can make it uninviting on chilly Spring or Autumn days, as well as during Winter. Initially, they used mushroom gas bottle heaters in an attempt to keep the venue warm but found it was actually hard to heat continuously and evenly. The gas bottle heaters took up valuable floor space, were prone to losing heat in windy conditions and of course, ran out of gas at the most inconvenient of times!
