M-iClean series: Under Bench and Pass Through Dishwashers

These features enable under bench and pass through dishwashers to achieve wonderfully hygienic results:

GiO-TECH: This reverse osmosis system cleans and almost completely demineralises the water.

Heat recovery: The ComfortAir on the M-iClean U and AirConcept on the M-iClean H channels back the hot vapour into the water cycle, using it as thermal energy instead of being released haphazardly into the room.

  • Water temperatures above 60 °C ensure hygiene safety
  • See and assess effeciveness in destroying thermolabile (heat-sensitive) pathogens

There is no evidence of particular heat resistance in SARS-CoV-2. It can be assumed that it is sensitive to temperatures of 60 to 70 °C.

It is also an enveloped virus, meaning that alkali detergents at temperatures from 50 °C upwards are effective. Loss of the viral envelope or removal of the envelope’s lipids prevents it from infecting host cells. This fact is exploited to inactivate enveloped viruses in order to stop the virus from spreading.
