State-of-the-art hospitality training facility launches in Adelaide

The new HISC was opened in September this year by Hospitality Group Training (HGT) and offers courses in responsible service of alcohol, barista and bar training, commercial cookery courses and gaming. The HISC offers smaller class sizes, reduced time out of the workplace, reduced fees and a more personalised and supported service for their students.

The HISC is open to private students and all apprentices and trainees in South Australia. The HISC has two commercial training kitchens where apprentices are taught a blend of classical and modern cooking techniques; a fully equipped bar and coffee making station for front of house training and, in the near future, it will also have a room dedicated to gaming training.

The HISC is the first industry owned hospitality training facility of its kind in South Australia.
