Is this the minibar of the future?

04 April, 2013

Advanced bar concept company Benneta Group has launched a hybrid personal bar, which could revolutionise the minibar in the high-end hotel market.

Benneta Group has set-up hotel lobby bars for luxury chains including Park Hotels, ITC, The Taj, Lalit, and Kempinski, but has now launched BarTrender Pro, which moves the lobby bar from the lobby, to the hotel room or home.

The BarTrender Pro is a fully-functional professional bar fitted with advanced bar equipment. It has built in refrigeration, dual zone wine preservation, cocktail mixing station and storage for glasses and beverage bottles.

It comes with attached accessories such as bottle opener, towel ring and stemware glass holder - every element in a luxury hotel bar.

Vickram Mederata, the chief designer of BarTrender Pro said production would initially be limited to two hundred sets.

"Our production for the first year will be limited to only two hundred sets. These are prized possessions, and we plan sell limited numbers each year per region. Luxury hotel chains have considered the bar for their suites," Mederata said.

"Making bars for international clients at five star hotels placed us at the right position of knowing what finest bars need. BarTrender Pro is a child of excellence for the world market."
