International hotel booking website Hotel.info dished the dirt on the world's 'cleanest' — and 'filthiest' — cities for an overnight stay following a recent study.
Two million customers were surveyed, with those who stayed in Brisbane the most positive about the state of their hotel rooms. The Queensland city scored a rating of 8.3 out of 10 on the cleanliness scale. Sydney was second with a rating of 8.2, followed by Melbourne at 8.1.
However Australian hotels still have some catching up to do it seems, with none of our cities featuring on the list of the cleanest hotels in the world
