Old fashioned recipes, full of flavour that have become firm family favourites. We wanted to honour the people behind the recipe – our 'Friends of the Regiment'.
Mrs Florence Mallis was a great aunt of ours and spent time as a missionary’s wife in India. She was a wonderful, if sometimes untidy, cook in the kitchen. The end result of her annual Tomato Sauce making was a delight, but the kitchen tended to look like a bomb had hit it!
Her sauce is now made to the same recipe by us in Australia from local and imported ingredients.
