  By way of using the 405nm wavelength of HEV spectrum of light, it targets and naturally occurring compounds called Porphyrins. The light reaches and photo-reacts with germ cells. Porphyrin molecules inside these cells react and are photoactivated which create a further generation of ROS> This then leads to increased production that destroy the germ cells from the inside.

• Many disinfection systems are currently used to kill germs, these are generally manual operation, or are targeted to specific items or areas.
