Previously, manual labour requiring up to three workers was necessary to relocate a packaging machine and a cumbersome dough mixer. This unsafe practice exposed employees to the risk of back and shoulder injuries, potentially leading to absenteeism, prolonged recovery periods, and operational downtime.
Introducing the Hygienic Stainless Steel Powered Tug
Through collaboration with a specialist distributor, Electrodrive introduced a custom solution: the Tug Axis 2T, a stainless steel powered tug resistant to corrosion.
Efficiently Handling Bakery Machinery
This innovative solution enabled a single operator to effortlessly transport loads of up to 2 tonnes, significantly enhancing efficiency while ensuring worker safety. Engineered to withstand rigorous sanitation protocols and the demanding bakery environment, its robust construction guarantees durability and hygiene. Moreover, its ergonomic design optimises forward visibility, crucial for avoiding collisions with personnel, equipment, or infrastructure.
Streamlined Operations and Enhanced Safety
The implementation of this solution has streamlined operations and significantly improved worker safety. Now, only one person is needed to securely manoeuver manufacturing equipment for cleaning, compared to the previous requirement of two or three individuals.
