Unlike commercial ice flakers, commercial Ice makers are machines dedicated to producing crystal clear individual cubes of ice. These machines can produce 20 to 460 Kg of ice cubes in 24 hours. They are used in restaurants, bars, hotels, and cafes. They can deliver a perfect size cube of a standard 21 mm to 25 mm.
With features like stainless steel bodies, water hoses, drainage hoses, fully insulated storage tanks, and wide glass doors. Commercial ice makers work similarly to domestic or commercial refrigeration systems.
An energy efficient and low-noise compressor compresses refrigerant that passes through an expansion valve toward the evaporator.
The evaporators in commercial ice makers generally have two copper metal trip sets installed vertically and horizontally. These copper strips intersect each other at a right angle, making several cubic cavities. The evaporator is installed in the vertical position with a water inlet hose at its top and a drainage hose at its bottom.
To create the cubes, water flows continuously over the evaporator body, filling and overflowing the cavities until the water freezes into ice cubes.
