Stuart MacGill's Eat Art Truck added to Winter Warmers
22/06/2012 - Winter Warmers - a mini-festival that seeks to help homeless youth on our streets this winter - is set to kick off at the Beach Road Hotel, Bondi, on Saturday June 30.
Vintage and handmade wares, gourmet food, florista, coffee stands, yoga, music and a bar will be open. Stalls include Stuart MacGill's Eat Art Truck, Fox and Beau and Rain and Hale.
Vespa and Lambretta enthusiasts are riding from all corners of Sydney to congregate in the car park between 2pm and 4pm for a show and shine.
Winter Warmers Mini Festival heats up with night food markets, comedy acts, a live mural by The Drawing Book's Zena Santos, dance comp, fundraiser raffle and performances by bands and DJs.
The Winter Warmers indoor festival provides funds to support Open Family Australia's efforts to provide outreach support and services to young homeless people.
Live bands on the night feature Belles Will Ring, The Walking Who, Iluka, Major Tom, the Atoms and The Dusty Duets.
The Love is a Four Letter Word exhibition features 50 prints including original works from Eugene Tan of aquabumps.com.au and award-winning advertising talent Jonathan May, currently being auctioned on Facebook as part of the Winter Warmers indoor festival.
The exhibition is being displayed at the Camera Club, Beach Road Hotel until Saturday June 30 when the final auction will take place at Winter Warmers. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the Love is a Four Letter Word auction will be donated to Bondi Youth Accommodation.
Tickets to Winter Warmers are $15 in advance from www.moshtix.com.au and $20 on the door.
From June 21 there will be a donations bin at the Beach Road Hotel where people can drop off any unwanted woolen goodies.
